"Napoli-New York" by Gabriele Salvatores wins two David di Donatello Awards at the 70th edition of the prestigious awards in Italian cinema.
The David di Donatello for Best VFX awarded to Victor Perez, and the David Giovani – a unique film award assigned exclusively by a jury of students from the final two years of Italian high schools, selected through a national call.
“This recognition is special because it comes from those who represent the future of our audience,” commented Arturo Paglia, producer of the winning film. “Gabriele Salvatores has created a work that combines emotion and reflection, and we’re happy that the young people chose it.”
