Statement by Nicola Maccanico, CEO of Cinecittà SpA

People are finally returning to the cinemas, but even in the previous months Cinecittà never stopped producing and welcoming new stories by great authors, international projects, independent films, as well as TV series and shows. Our goal, in the coming months, will be to continue to do so in a broader way and to an even greater extent. We are particularly pleased to offer our studios a young talent like Stefano Cipani and to a production company like Paco led by experienced professionals such as Arturo Paglia and Isabella Cocuzza, for a film that includes a cast of performers much loved by the public. It’s nice to welcome a project that brings together different stories and energies, and combines talent, dramaturgical research, experience and art. We want to become the creative home of these projects with the ambition to play a central role in the Italian film industry in order to bring to viewers an even richer season of visions, stories and entertainment.

 SYNOPSIS

The parents of three students are summoned by the principal of a small-town middle school: a crime has been committed, and their kids are responsible. But the parents struggle to accept the truth. The school’s gym is thus transformed into a makeshift courtroom, where a ferocious trial begins in a stubborn attempt to deny and cover up the truth.
